You can reduce the cost of your physiotherapy sessions by utilising these two methods.

• Health insurance - Depending on your cover you may qualify for full cover or partial cover for physiotherapy. Check your policy for details.

• Tax Relief - You can claim tax relief on all physiotherapy appointments via your ‘My Account’ on www.revenue.ie

• Example 1: Physio Cost €65 - With health insurance offering 50% off (€32.50) & Med 1 Tax Relief (20% off remaining 32.50) = €65-(32.50+6.50)= Physio Cost to you = €26 per appointment
